A leading international law firm is seeking an Associate-level Employment lawyer to join its Sydney practice. The role covers both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a strong emphasis on advising global, multinational and local clients across a range of sectors.

The successful candidate will handle workforce conduct issues, internal investigations, compliance with local laws and regulations, large-scale restructuring exercises and employment aspects of corporate transactions. There will also be opportunities to defend clients in complex employment disputes and to advise on immigration matters.

This is a genuinely broad employment role offering exposure to cross-border work, senior executive incentive arrangements, transactional support and business development within a collaborative, internationally networked team.

Demonstrated experience in employment law, ideally gained at a large international or top-tier regional firm.
Strong academic credentials from a reputable institution.
Australia-wide employment experience would be advantageous.
Confident client interaction skills and a proactive approach to business development.
A mature, flexible and team-oriented personality with a genuine commitment to building a career in Australia.
