We are recruiting an Associate to join a busy Finance Litigation team, with the role offered in Glasgow or Edinburgh on a flexible working basis. This is a key addition to a growing Scottish team, best suited to a Scottish-qualified solicitor between NQ and 5 years' PQE seeking clear routes for progression.

The role offers varied work spanning financial services — acting for clearing banks, private banks, building societies and/or niche lenders — alongside commercial dispute resolution cases. You can expect to work closely with partners on complex matters, projects and the long-term development of the team, collaborating with colleagues across other teams and office locations.

A Scottish, E&W or dual-qualified solicitor with a financial or commercial litigation background
NQ–5 years' PQE
A forward thinker with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
Ability to understand clients' business needs and act in their best interests
An ambitious and enthusiastic team player able to support senior fee earners
