Associate — Private Equity / M&A, Sydney

We are seeking a high-performing junior associate (NQ–2 years PQE, UK notional) to join a leading Private Equity and M&A team in Sydney. The role offers exposure to complex, high-value transactions and regular client contact across a broad range of industries.

You will advise on private equity investments and exits, public and private M&A, growth capital and minority investments, and general corporate advisory matters. The team offers early responsibility, mentoring and structured development to build technical and commercial expertise.

• NQ–2 years PQE (UK notional) in Corporate / M&A
• Experience on private equity transactions preferred
• Strong technical drafting and transactional skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines
• Commercially minded with strong client‑facing and communication skills
• Team‑oriented, proactive, organised and detail‑focused
