Associate – Tax (Transactional Tax)

We are seeking a talented tax associate with at least four years of experience to join our transactional tax practice in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to work on market-leading, often cross-border transactions from day one, as part of a team operating at the forefront of the international marketplace.

In this role, you will advise on all tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, venture capital transactions, and corporate restructurings. You will structure and implement acquisition, investment, and financing arrangements from a tax perspective, working closely with colleagues across corporate/M&A, private equity, restructuring, finance, and capital markets practice groups. You will also help manage ongoing client relationships and support business development initiatives.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in transactional tax, with a strong focus on M&A, private equity, and corporate restructurings.
• Proven ability to structure and implement complex acquisition and financing arrangements from a tax perspective.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working alongside corporate, finance, and capital markets teams.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
