Associate — Transactional Tax

Established international law firm is recruiting an experienced transactional tax associate to join its Germany tax practice. The role is open to candidates based in Germany (Hamburg or Munich).

The team advises on cross-border and domestic transactional tax matters for corporates, private equity, financial institutions and other commercial clients. You will work on deal structuring, tax advice for acquisitions/divestments and related transactional documentation alongside a multi-office team.

This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to complex, commercially focused tax work and collaboration with tax lawyers across jurisdictions.

• Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in transactional tax work.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate and transactional tax matters, including cross-border structuring.
• Demonstrable experience working on M&A and/or private equity transactions preferred.
• Fluency in German and English (verbal and written) preferred for client-facing work in Germany.
