We are looking for a tax lawyer to join an experienced team where tax expertise and commercial thinking go hand in hand. You will advise companies and corporate groups, banks, financial investors, family offices and high-net-worth individuals on national and international tax law, developing tailored solutions for their individual needs.

The role covers the tax structuring of M&A, private equity, venture capital and real estate transactions, including tax due diligence from first idea to closing. You will also support restructurings and reorganisations and advise on topics such as employee participation programmes, while analysing complex tax questions and representing clients before tax authorities and tax courts.

You will work closely with colleagues across Corporate/M&A, Real Estate and Funds, and contribute to digitalisation and the implementation of AI in day-to-day advisory work. From day one you will be supported on your path to becoming an independent lawyer, with early responsibility, direct client contact, regular feedback and open doors.

Two above-average German state law examinations
First professional experience in tax law, e.g. at a commercial law firm, in a tax department or in the tax administration
An advantage: additional qualification such as Diplom-Finanzwirt/in, a doctorate in tax law, an LL.M. or the tax adviser examination
A strong understanding of commercial contexts and enjoyment in developing creative solutions to complex tax questions
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Openness to legal tech, AI and digital research tools
Fluent English, written and spoken
