Seeking a litigation associate to join a national insurance-defense trial team in the Phoenix office. The role focuses on defense work across high-exposure matters, including trials, trial monitoring and parachute trials, with substantial involvement in motion practice, depositions and courtroom work.

The associate will manage an active caseload, prepare cases for trial and mediation, interact with insurance clients and insureds, and be responsible for drafting pleadings, discovery, motions and briefs. The position may require out-of-state travel for trials and trial monitoring.

Admission to the Arizona bar
0–3 years litigation experience, preferably with trial or insurance-defense exposure
Experience taking depositions and attending hearings/mediations
Strong legal research, drafting and oral-advocacy skills
Ability to manage a heavy caseload, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with clients
Willingness to travel for trials and trial monitoring
