A leading global law firm is seeking a motivated and organized Associate to join its insurance coverage litigation practice in Phoenix. The role focuses on analyzing insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and advising clients on complex coverage issues across first-party property and third-party liability matters.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload including bad faith claims and declaratory judgment actions, working with both primary and excess personal lines and commercial general liability policies. Day-to-day work includes legal research, drafting pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, and motions, as well as attending depositions, examinations under oath, hearings, mediations, and trials.

3–6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience
Admitted to practice in Arizona (admission in other states a plus, particularly CA, TX, or WA)
Experience with first-party property and third-party liability claims, bad faith, and declaratory judgment actions
Familiarity with primary and excess personal lines and commercial general liability policies
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive matters
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
