Bankruptcy Partner — Chicago

Seeking a partner to lead and grow a busy bankruptcy and restructuring practice in the Chicago office of a national law firm. The role focuses on chapter 11 restructurings, out-of-court work and creditor-side and debtor-side representations across commercial and middle-market matters.

The team handles complex insolvency matters and works closely with transactional, litigation and finance colleagues. The hire will have a visible leadership role in the office with responsibility for business development, client management and mentoring junior lawyers.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Significant bankruptcy and restructuring experience at partner level, with deep chapter 11 and distressed M&A background
• Proven record of client origination and business development
• Bar admission in Illinois or ability to obtain admission; strong team leadership and mentoring skills
