An immigration-focused law firm is seeking a Business Immigration Associate for its Los Angeles office. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside a collegial team of immigration specialists.

You will develop deep expertise in your client base and the industries you support, crafting case strategies, researching and drafting legal documents, and counseling clients and foreign nationals on procedural and case-processing matters. Responsibilities also include assessing eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa statuses, preparing petitions and applications for submission to government agencies, and supporting corporate immigration program management and compliance.

Working closely with client global mobility teams and colleagues across the firm, you will communicate proactively within service-level agreements, mentor junior associates, and contribute to ongoing improvements in quality, efficiency, and process standardization. Accurate use of firm technology and adherence to documented standards are essential to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory and client compliance.

U.S. JD or LLM required
Member of a U.S. state bar or Washington D.C. bar association
2–3 years of experience at the associate level
Expanded practical understanding of immigration law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and proofreading without AI assistance
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Dedication to exceptional client service and demonstrated attention to detail
