Seeking a tax associate to join a national transactional tax team advising on sophisticated domestic and cross‑border business transactions for public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investment banks, family offices, and nonprofit organizations.

Work will focus on tax aspects of mergers & acquisitions, buyouts, restructurings, joint ventures, fund formation and sponsor‑level planning, financings, and transactions involving tax credits. The role is collaborative and closely integrated with corporate, private equity, finance, and funds teams.

The team values strong technical tax ability, commercial judgment, and the capacity to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced deal environment.

Minimum 3 years of law‑firm tax experience handling transactional tax matters
LL.M. in Taxation required
Experience on taxable and tax‑free M&A, partnership/LLC structuring, and cross‑border tax matters
Strong technical drafting, analytical, and communication skills; ability to prepare tax memoranda and negotiate tax provisions
