Our client is an internationally recognized law firm seeking a senior associate or counsel to join its Capital Markets and Banking practice in Luxembourg. This role focuses on sophisticated finance transactions and regulatory matters.

You will work on complex banking and capital markets transactions, including structured finance, and advise on multi-jurisdictional regulatory issues. The role involves collaborating with a global team and leading international clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on a broad range of financial law matters
  • Leading and assisting on complex finance transactions and regulatory mandates
  • Drafting and negotiating finance documentation
  • Providing strategic legal advice to domestic and international clients
  • Coordinating with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements:

  • European-qualified lawyer with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in finance or banking
  • Strong academic background and technical expertise in capital markets, banking, or regulatory law
  • Fluency in English and French (German is a plus)
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and influencing skills
  • Innovative, practical, and commercially minded team player
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
