Capital Markets Resource Attorney

This is a non-client-facing attorney role designed to support a leading global Capital Markets practice. The resource attorney will function as a practice group specialist, focusing on knowledge management, business development, and attorney enablement rather than direct client representation. This position does not involve billing time to clients and is intended for a licensed attorney with substantial capital markets experience who is interested in a strategic, practice-support function.

Key responsibilities include monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to capital markets, developing and maintaining internal know-how and work product archives, creating and updating forms and templates, and drafting client alerts and white papers. The role also involves coordinating speaking engagements, webinars, and training programs, as well as collaborating with marketing and professional development teams to enhance the practice group's branding and skills development. Additionally, the attorney will work with information services and practice innovation teams to assess and adopt technologies that improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions, a solid understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements, and familiarity with the technology and life sciences industries. • Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements
