Apply in confidence →Our client, a premier global law firm with a top-tier capital markets practice, is seeking a resource attorney to support its Capital Markets group. This non-billable role is focused on enhancing the group's marketing, know-how, and practice efficiency. The attorney will not work directly for clients and will not bill time.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and summarizing legal and regulatory developments relevant to capital markets work.
- Developing content for client alerts, white papers, and external resources.
- Building and maintaining internal know-how databases and work product archives.
- Updating forms and templates to reflect current law and market practice.
- Supporting business development, including RFPs, speaking engagements, and webinars.
- Collaborating with marketing, professional development, and practice innovation teams to drive efficiency and training.
Ideal candidates will be licensed attorneys with at least 5 years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions, and a strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting. Success in this role requires substantive expertise, a team-oriented approach, excellent communication and drafting skills, and an interest in the technology and life sciences sectors.
- Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of capital markets experience representing issuers and investment banks.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills.
- Confident presenter and proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the technology and life sciences industries is preferred.
