Capital Markets Resource Attorney

A leading global law firm seeks a resource attorney to support its premier Capital Markets practice group. The firm is consistently among the top US practices representing issuers and investment banks in IPOs, follow-on offerings and other capital markets transactions, with one of the most active SPAC and deSPAC practices nationally, complementing market-leading work with technology and life sciences companies.

This is a non-client-facing, non-billable role focused on enhancing the practice group's marketing and business development, strengthening the creation and sharing of substantive know-how, and enabling practitioners to be more informed, efficient and successful.

Responsibilities include tracking legal and regulatory developments, drafting and maintaining client alerts, white papers and external resources, building internal practice resources and know-how archives, coordinating speaking engagements and webinars, maintaining and updating forms and templates, and collaborating with marketing, professional development and information services on branding, RFPs, training and technology adoption.

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years' experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, SEC reporting requirements and related matters
• Mastery of the substantive capital markets practice area, with appetite to learn as the practice, regulatory environment and technology evolve
• Familiarity with the technology and life sciences industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills; confident, engaging presenter
• Strong intellectual ability, judgment, interpersonal and technical skills
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative team player
