Apply in confidence →Our client, a leading global law firm with offices across the US, Europe, and Asia, is seeking a Capital Markets Resource Attorney to join its premier Capital Markets practice group. This non-billable role focuses on enhancing marketing and business development efforts, building and sharing substantive know-how, and enabling practicing attorneys to work more efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to capital markets
- Developing topics for and assisting with client alerts, white papers, and external-facing resources
- Creating and maintaining internal practice resources to facilitate know-how exchange and client interaction
- Managing archives of work product and know-how
- Coordinating speaking engagements, webinars, and related materials
- Updating forms and templates to reflect current legal developments and industry-accepted terms
- Collaborating with Marketing on branding, RFPs, and business development efforts
- Working with Professional Development to enhance skills training
- Assessing and supporting adoption of new technologies to increase practice efficiency
The ideal candidate is a licensed attorney with at least 5 years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions, and a strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements. Success in this role requires mastery of the substantive area, a team-oriented mindset, knowledge of technology and life sciences industries, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational and technological aptitude.
- Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets transactions
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements
- Excellent drafting, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
