The practice advises technology and life sciences companies across the full range of public and private capital-raising activities.

This non-billable role focuses on enhancing the practice group’s marketing and business development, building and sharing substantive know-how, and enabling practicing attorneys to be more informed and efficient. You will not work directly for clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to capital markets
  • Developing content for client alerts, white papers, and external-facing tools
  • Creating and maintaining internal know-how and work-product archives
  • Updating forms and templates to reflect current law and industry practice
  • Supporting speaking engagements, webinars, and associated materials
  • Collaborating with marketing on branding, RFPs, and business development initiatives
  • Coordinating with professional development on training and skills growth
  • Working with information services and practice innovation to adopt efficiency-enhancing technologies

Candidates must be licensed attorneys with at least five years of experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions, and a strong command of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements. Success in the role requires mastery of the substantive practice area, enthusiasm for continuous learning, strong drafting and presentation skills, and a collaborative, self-starting approach. Familiarity with the technology and life sciences industries is expected.

  • Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets transactions (representing issuers and investment banks)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills
  • Confident and engaging presentation skills
  • Strong intellectual ability, judgment, interpersonal, and technical skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Team player with knowledge of the technology and life sciences industries
