An opportunity has arisen to join a nationally recognised catastrophic loss team, one of the largest of its kind in the country. Based in Leeds, the role involves working on complex, high value defendant personal injury cases for a wide range of leading insurers.

Matters include road traffic accidents, employers' liability and public liability claims with values ranging from £150,000 to £20 million. As a fully assisting role, you will work closely with partners on large value matters while handling your own caseload responsibilities.

The position is offered on a hybrid basis, with flexibility for candidates based further afield provided they can travel to Leeds fortnightly.

2–5 years PQE, ideally in large loss, complex loss or catastrophic loss claims
Experience of defendant multi-track personal injury work, including EL/PL or RTA matters
Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law, liability and quantum assessment
Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
Strong academics
