A dynamic litigation team is seeking an associate with three to five years of general commercial litigation experience to join its Seattle office. The role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to case strategy while working both independently and collaboratively within a busy practice.

The successful candidate will handle a wide range of commercial litigation work, including drafting briefs, correspondence, and written discovery responses, managing e-discovery, and appearing in Washington state and federal courts. Drafting and arguing motions and taking and defending depositions are core parts of the position.

The firm maintains a collegial, team-oriented culture and values strong organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and superior research and writing ability. This is an in-office role in a standard professional setting.

Juris Doctorate (JD) required
Licensed to practice law in the State of Washington
Three to five years of general commercial litigation experience
Experience in Washington state and federal courts
Experience drafting briefs, correspondence, and responding to written discovery
Experience managing e-discovery
Experience drafting and arguing motions
Experience taking and defending depositions
Superior academic and employment record with excellent research and writing skills
Large law firm experience preferred
Clerkship and/or trial experience a plus
