Consumer Finance Litigation Senior Counsel

We are seeking a Senior Counsel with at least eight years of experience to join our national litigation practice, focusing on consumer finance matters. This role sits within our Financial Services & Capital Markets group and is open to candidates across our offices, including our virtual office.

Responsibilities include defending financial services companies in state and federal court, with working knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and related consumer protection statutes. Experience representing mortgage servicers or originators in contested foreclosures, quiet title actions, title disputes, and related claims is strongly preferred.

Ideal candidates will have excellent academic credentials, strong judgment, the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, and superior communication skills. An active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction is required (or commitment to obtain one promptly).

• Minimum 8 years of experience in consumer finance litigation
• Experience defending financial services companies in state and federal courts
• Working knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and other consumer protection statutes

• Active bar license in the state of the office to which you apply (or willingness to obtain one)
