An Am Law 50 firm is seeking a Partner to join its Corporate practice group in Austin, Texas. The role involves advising clients on transaction structuring, including identifying anticipated risks and developing mitigation strategies.

The successful candidate will act as lead legal advisor for the negotiation of key transaction documents, including term sheets, governance agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and related agreements.

This is a senior lateral opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer with a strong transactional and M&A background who is ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic practice.

JD, LLM, or foreign equivalent
Eight or more years of experience as an Associate or in a related occupation
Licensure in Texas, or alternatively in another jurisdiction with eligibility to obtain a Texas law license within 12 months
Strong transactional and M&A experience, including leading negotiations of key deal documents
