Debt Finance Attorney (1st–3rd Year)

Our client, a leading law firm, seeks a talented associate to join its Debt Finance practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated financing transactions in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Represent lenders, borrowers, and private equity sponsors in a range of debt financing transactions.
• Handle secured lending matters, including drafting and negotiating loan documents and managing the closing process.
• Prepare commitment letters, issues lists, and other transaction documents with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Work across multiple diverse projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have a JD or equivalent from a nationally recognized law school, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and a background gained at a large law firm. Knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing, high-yield or convertible debt offerings, and general corporate law is preferred. • Working knowledge of secured lending transactions and experience in closing transactions.
• Familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists in connection with financing transactions.
• Knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing, debt securities offerings, and general corporate law preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
