Debt Finance Attorney (1st–3rd Year)

We are seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join our Finance & Banking practice, focusing on lending transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of debt financing matters in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

• Represent lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions.
• Develop expertise in secured lending, including drafting and negotiating loan documents and issues lists.
• Support acquisition financings, including commitment letters, and debt securities offerings (high yield and/or convertible notes).
• Work on multiple diverse projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of relevant experience, a working knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC, and familiarity with general corporate law. We value strong academic credentials, training from a large law firm, and the ability to manage complex transactions.

• 1–3 years of experience in debt finance, representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors.
• Working knowledge of secured lending transactions and experience in closing transactions.
• Familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists in connection with debt financing.
• Knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing (with commitment letters), and debt securities offerings preferred.
• JD or equivalent from a nationally recognized law school, with excellent academic credentials.
• Training and development experience at a large law firm.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high-quality work product.
