Join a national full‑service law firm’s Birmingham employment team as an Employment Associate. The role sits in a busy, collaborative practice advising a wide range of clients on both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.

Day‑to‑day work includes advising on redundancies, disciplinary and grievance matters, TUPE, absence management, settlement agreements, and representing clients in Employment Tribunal and higher‑court proceedings. You will contribute to client relationship management, business development and mentoring junior lawyers.

  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with demonstrable employment law experience.
  • Experience advising on contentious and non‑contentious employment matters (TUPE, disciplinary/grievance, settlement agreements, redundancies).
  • Employment Tribunal experience and advocacy skills desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, commercial awareness, and experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
