An opportunity has arisen to join a leading Scottish employment practice, working as part of a warm, collaborative team operating across multiple Scottish offices and integrated with a wider national people and reward group that brings together employment, immigration and pensions specialists.

The role offers a genuinely varied practice covering complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal litigation, strategic workforce projects, transactional support for corporate and real estate deals, and day-to-day advisory work. You will manage your own matters while drawing on the support and technical expertise of a highly regarded national team.

Clients span fast-growing businesses, major corporates and household names across sectors including consumer and retail, energy and infrastructure, logistics and manufacturing, food and drink, utilities and local government. You will be encouraged from day one to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to business development and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.

Experienced employment lawyer with 3+ years' PQE
Strong track record advising employer clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Experience across disciplinary and grievance matters, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, contracts and policies, restructures, redundancies, and employment aspects of corporate, real estate and insolvency transactions
Commercially minded and confident managing matters independently while collaborating within a team
Enthusiastic about building lasting client relationships and delivering outstanding service
