Experienced employment litigation associate to join a national employer-side labor & employment practice in the Hartford office. The role focuses on defending employers in litigation and administrative charges and providing day‑to‑day advice on employment matters across state and federal forums.

Work will include managing matters from discovery through trial/agency resolution, counseling clients on workplace policies and risk mitigation, and collaborating with a team of employment-focused attorneys. The firm offers competitive benefits and performance-based bonuses.

This is a practice-oriented position for candidates who want to build depth in employer-side employment litigation within a busy, litigation-focused group.

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Minimum 5 years of litigation experience; employment law background strongly preferred (judicial clerkship may be considered)
  • Active Connecticut bar admission or ability to obtain admission promptly
  • Experience with federal and state court procedures and employment agencies
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy, organization, and project‑management skills; ability to handle multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment
