Employment Litigation Of Counsel — Los Angeles

An established employment law defense practice is seeking an Of Counsel attorney to join its expanding Los Angeles team. The role involves the full range of employment defense work, combining independent litigation defense with day-to-day advice and counsel to clients on employment-law matters.

Litigation responsibilities include legal research; drafting memoranda, pleadings, and motions (including dispositive motions); attending court conferences and presenting oral argument; taking and defending depositions; managing discovery and investigations; drafting position statements; and leading mediations and direct settlement negotiations.

The ideal candidate brings a consistent record of substantive litigation work, strong analytical and writing skills, the ability to work independently, excellent follow-through, and a client-service mindset with a genuine passion for employment law.

• Juris Doctor degree
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing, with continuing licensure maintained during employment
• 9+ years of employment litigation defense experience preferred
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
