Top-tier national law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation Associate to join its Dallas office. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

The team advises public and private company clients on equity and cash incentive plans, severance and change-in-control arrangements, tax and ERISA issues, and transactional employee benefits matters. This is a practice-facing role with client work and deal support.

The firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package; the hiring range posted for this opening is $235,000–$390,000.

  • 2–6 years' post-qualification experience working on executive compensation and employee benefits (ERISA/tax focus helpful)
  • Experience supporting M&A and corporate transactions from a compensation/benefits perspective
  • Strong drafting skills for retention, equity, severance and change-in-control documents
  • Juris Doctor and admission to practice (state bar)
