Apply in confidence →Leading global law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation Associate to join its Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits practice in the Los Angeles office. The role focuses on advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters arising in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
The team works closely with corporate deal teams and provides counseling on plan design, change-in-control arrangements, equity compensation, tax and regulatory issues affecting executive pay. This is a hands-on role with exposure to high-value transactional matters and cross-practice collaboration.
The firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package; the current hiring range for this position is $235,000 to $390,000.
- 2–6 years of post-qualification experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
- Practical experience advising on exec comp matters in M&A and other business transactions.
- Strong drafting and transactional skills; able to work collaboratively with corporate teams.
- Active bar admission in the United States and ability to practice in California (or eligibility to become licensed).
