Fund Formation Attorney — Corporate (San Francisco)

Experienced corporate associate opportunity on the fund formation team of a leading national law firm in San Francisco. The role focuses on representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds, handling formation, sponsor-level structures and secondary transactions.

You'll join a transactional practice that advises on fund entity structuring, governance, management company matters and secondary sales of limited partner or portfolio company interests. The team regularly works with private equity and investment management clients across domestic fund products.

• 2–7 years PQE in private investment fund formation
• Experience representing both sponsors (GPs/management companies) and limited partners on fund formation and sponsor-level transactions
• Familiarity with secondary transactions involving LP interests and portfolio company interests
• Prior experience at a national or international law firm and strong academic credentials
