An Am Law 100 full-service firm is seeking an attorney to join its growing General Liability Practice in its Phoenix office. This is an opportunity to handle insurance defense litigation within a large, collaborative national practice.

The group represents both businesses and individuals—insured and self-insured—in significant exposure matters, with particular strength in the litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation. The practice is supported by seasoned partners and senior associates who bring broad trial experience.

While prior insurance defense experience is preferred, the firm is also open to talented litigators from other arenas who bring strong substantive litigation skills and a collaborative approach. A hybrid working arrangement is available, and the firm offers competitive compensation alongside medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401k with employer match.

At least two (2) to fifteen (15) years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery
Experience handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Strong research and writing skills
Admission to the Arizona Bar
Insurance defense experience preferred; substantive litigation experience in any arena will be considered
