Investment Funds Associate — Venture Capital & Growth Equity

Leading national investment funds team seeks an associate with significant experience advising venture capital and growth equity sponsors. The role sits across multiple U.S. offices, with particular hiring needs in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.

Work will focus on fund formation, fundraising and ongoing operation of investment vehicles, and will involve counseling sponsors on governance, management company and general partner structuring, compensation/economics arrangements, succession planning and other operational and regulatory matters affecting investment management platforms.

• 3–6 years PQE in corporate or investment funds work at a national or international law firm
• Demonstrated experience with formation, structuring and fundraising of venture capital, growth equity or similar funds
• Familiarity with sponsor governance, GP/management company structuring, compensation and succession planning
• Strong drafting, client counseling and deal-management skills
