A leading international law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate with 3–5 years of law-firm real estate experience to join its West Coast real estate team, sitting in either its San Francisco or Los Angeles office. The team advises domestic and international investors, developers, institutions, and private individuals on commercial and residential real estate transactions across all asset classes.

The role covers key aspects of complex commercial and residential acquisitions and disposals—including title and survey review, transaction management, and outreach to counsel, escrow agents, and principals—as well as finance, commercial leasing across office, retail, industrial, ground and agricultural assets, conveyancing, entitlements and subdivisions, construction and improvement contracts, and drafting to form and advise complex ownership vehicles.

The associate will also manage transactions end-to-end, building and running closing and due-diligence checklists and supporting closings, while contributing to business development through writing, events, and networking with private-wealth contacts and intermediaries. Collaboration across practice areas—including tax, trusts and estates, and litigation—is central to the work.

Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar
Minimum 3–5 years of real estate experience in a law firm's real estate group
Strong academic credentials
US experience required; international or cross-border experience a plus
Excellent drafting, writing, research, and communication skills
Proactive self-starter with strong project management and prioritization abilities
Detail-oriented team player eager to develop and deepen their skill set
