Apply in confidence →We are a global law firm with over 5,000 colleagues across more than 30 countries, combining deep sector expertise with an international platform to advise clients wherever they operate. Our Luxembourg Banking & Finance team is seeking a Junior Associate to join a close-knit group advising institutional clients on a broad range of domestic and international financing transactions.
The team's work spans real estate finance, fund finance, acquisition finance, asset finance, structured finance and securitisations, and cross-border financing and securities issuances. As a Junior Associate you will work directly with the Partner and senior lawyers, supporting matters throughout the transaction lifecycle from day one. Responsibilities include assisting with domestic and international banking and finance transactions, drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, conducting legal research, supporting transaction structuring and execution, and communicating with clients and other parties. The role is primarily banking and finance, with potential exposure to related corporate matters where appropriate.
The team offers early responsibility and client exposure, direct partner access and mentoring, broad transactional experience, and a clear development path in an international working environment.
- Up to two years of relevant legal experience, ideally in banking and finance
- Strong interest in banking and finance transactions and appetite to develop technical expertise
- Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team while managing competing priorities
- Proactive, flexible and hands-on approach with willingness to take ownership and learn
- Excellent English language skills essential; French and/or German an advantage
