We are seeking a junior associate to join a technology-enabled Banking & Finance team that supports complex, cross-border financing transactions for a global client base. The team works within an innovative delivery model designed to resource large matters cost-effectively while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client service.

The role involves exposure to a broad range of financing work, including corporate lending, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and general banking matters. You will collaborate closely with partners, senior associates, and instructing teams across a global network on high-profile, multi-jurisdictional transactions.

This is a hands-on position for a solicitor who is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to process improvement and the use of legal technology. You will help shape efficient ways of working within a fast-evolving delivery environment.

Qualified solicitor with the ability to hold an Australian practising certificate
1–3 years post-qualification experience in private practice or an in-house legal team, advising on banking, finance, or lending transactions
Experience drafting and reviewing finance documentation such as loan agreements, security packages, and ancillary transaction documents
Experience supporting financing transactions from inception through to completion
Strong understanding of banking and finance principles, transaction structures, and legal risk considerations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines
Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach
Interest in legal technology and innovative legal service delivery
