An international law firm with a well-established global presence is seeking a junior to mid-level Employment Associate to join its growing Amsterdam team. The Dutch practice is ambitious and entrepreneurial in spirit while backed by the resources of a large global platform.

The firm operates one of the largest labour and employment practices worldwide and is recognized as a leading global practice in the field, combining hands-on experience, legal precision, commercial insight and a practical, business-minded approach.

You will be a key part of global client teams on large, often cross-jurisdictional matters, with front-line client exposure from day one. Work includes drafting global policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance issues, restructures and redundancies, changes to terms and conditions, and the employment aspects of corporate transactions, along with litigation and multi-country projects.

Dutch-qualified employment lawyer at junior or mid-level, with up to five years' experience
Strong matter management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality work on your own initiative
Ambition, self-motivation and a commitment to excellent client service
Experience handling a broad spectrum of non-contentious employment law issues, including the employment aspects of corporate transactions
Experience with employment litigation and multi-country projects
