We are seeking a technically excellent and client-focused Labour & Employment Associate to join a highly regarded, globally minded employment practice in London. This is an opportunity to collaborate with teams across an extensive international platform, working on complex cross-jurisdictional matters alongside locally based advisory work.

The London team acts for a diverse employer base, from start-ups to listed multinationals, across sectors including retail, finance, FMCG, media and advertising, manufacturing and engineering. The practice has seen sustained growth in significant and complex mandates and continues to innovate, including in the technology space, and is investing in its associate group accordingly.

From day one you will take a valuable part in global client teams with front-line client exposure, advising on global policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance issues, restructures and redundancies, TUPE and changes to terms and conditions. The firm offers a collaborative, supportive working environment with flexible working options and strong wellbeing and development programmes.

Qualified solicitor under the laws of England and Wales, with 4–5 years' PQE
Strong track record in employment law and excellent academic credentials
Experience across a broad spectrum of non-contentious employment issues, including the employment aspects of corporate transactions, litigation and multi-country projects
Experience in Employment Tribunal litigation
Solid matter management skills, ambition and self-motivation
Experience delegating to and managing the work of junior associates and trainees
Keen interest in business development and cross-selling between practice areas
Collaborative, intellectually curious and comfortable resolving challenging legal issues
