Established national firm seeks a lateral partner to join its agriculture-focused practice in the Oakland office. The role will sit at the intersection of agriculture and regulatory compliance, advising clients on state and federal regulatory matters, licensing, and emerging industry issues.

The team handles matters across traditional agricultural businesses and regulated sectors including cannabis; the partner will build and lead client engagements, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate with industry groups across the firm.

Proven partner-level experience in agriculture law, regulatory compliance, or closely related practice areas.
Practical experience with cannabis-regulatory matters is a plus.
Track record of originating and managing client engagements; portable book of business welcomed.
Ability to lead teams, develop business, and work with cross-practice industry groups.
