Leading Canadian firm is seeking a lateral partner to grow its Toronto practice with a primary focus on construction & infrastructure, complemented by commercial litigation and labour & employment matters. The role emphasizes front‑end project work in construction and high‑value commercial clients rather than pure disputes.
Ideal candidates will join a growth‑oriented platform that values portable business and the ability to develop a regional practice across Prairie jurisdictions. The firm is open to equity or income partner structures and to small team moves that bring immediate capacity.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Established partner-level experience in construction & infrastructure, including drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts and project documentation
- Proven ability to originate and grow client relationships; preference for candidates with ties to AB/SK/MB/prior regional work
- Comfort operating in a growth-focused environment and ability to integrate with a multi-office platform; team moves considered
