Senior corporate partner opportunity with a major U.S. firm’s Chicago office, joining a combined corporate and finance practice focused on private equity and venture capital transactions. The role will involve leading significant transactional matters, advising sponsors and portfolio companies, and working across buyouts, growth financings and equity investments.

The firm is seeking a partner with a portable practice and demonstrable client relationships who can originate and drive business growth in the region. This is a front‑facing role that includes mentoring junior lawyers and collaborating across transactional and industry teams.

Established partner with a transactional corporate/finance practice, ideally focused on private equity and venture capital.
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
Strong technical skills in M&A, equity financings and sponsor representation.
Ability to lead deal teams, manage client development, and contribute to practice strategy.
