Lateral Partner — Corporate & Finance (Chicago)

Leading international firm is seeking a senior lateral partner to join its Chicago corporate team with a strong private equity and M&A focus. The role will originate and lead complex buyouts, growth capital and VC-backed transactions, advise strategic acquirers and sponsors, and develop nationwide client relationships.

The partner will work closely with deal teams across corporate and finance practices, mentor junior lawyers, and help grow a market-leading practice in the region. This is a high-visibility role for an established rainmaker comfortable with cross-border and domestic transactions.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven track record in private equity, M&A and/or venture capital transactions
• Significant origination and client-development experience
• Experience leading deal teams and mentoring senior associates
• Active bar admission and strong standing in the Chicago market
