Lateral Partner — Corporate (M&A) — Chicago

Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Corporate practice in Chicago. The role focuses on M&A and transactional work, advising corporate clients on deals, governance, and related commercial matters.

The successful candidate will be a client-facing deal lawyer who can manage complex transactions, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development across the office and nationally. A portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships is welcome.

• Established partner-level experience in M&A and corporate transactional work.
• Proven track record of leading deals and supervising deal teams.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills; portable book of business welcomed.
• Active bar admission or willingness to become admitted where required.
