Highly regarded national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Delaware corporate team to lead and expand transactional work, with a focus on M&A and private equity matters. The role will have particular emphasis on matters for life sciences and energy industry clients.

The partner will handle complex buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, advise on corporate governance and strategic growth initiatives, and work closely with cross‑disciplinary teams on IP and regulatory aspects relevant to clients in the life sciences and energy sectors.

Applicants should be entrepreneurial and capable of bringing or developing client relationships; a portable practice or demonstrated business‑development success is welcomed. The position offers a leadership role within a collaborative, multi‑practice corporate group.

Partner-level transactional experience in M&A and private equity
Experience advising life sciences and/or energy sector clients preferred
Proven client development and business‑generation track record (portable book of business welcomed)
Strong team leadership and ability to collaborate with IP, regulatory and governance specialists
Eligible to practice in Delaware or able to obtain admission
