Lateral Partner — Corporate M&A & Technology (Vancouver)

Senior partner opportunity to join a highly regarded national commercial law platform in Vancouver, leading a technology‑focused corporate and M&A practice. The role will involve advising on complex domestic and cross‑border transactions, supporting growth in capital markets and related corporate mandates, and mentoring junior lawyers.

The team prefers candidates with an established portable practice and demonstrable business‑development capacity; group hires are being considered but strong single hires are welcome. The position is an equity partner role with flexibility in deal structuring and compensation for the right candidate.

• Established partner‑level experience in M&A and technology‑sector corporate work
• Proven track record of originating and executing transactions and client relationships (portable practice preferred)
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to lead and develop teams
• Admission or ability to obtain admission in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction; readiness to join as an equity partner
