Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to expand its corporate restructuring and bankruptcy practice in Charlotte. The role focuses on advising debtors, creditors and corporate clients on restructuring strategies, bankruptcy proceedings and related corporate matters.

The ideal hire will help grow and lead a market-facing restructuring group, collaborating with cross-office teams on complex in-court and out-of-court matters. The team provides both litigation and transactional restructuring work for middle-market and larger corporate clients.

Established partner with a track record in bankruptcy, restructuring and related corporate work
Experience handling contested insolvency proceedings and out-of-court reorganizations
Demonstrated client development and practice-building ability; a portable practice is welcome
Strong drafting, courtroom and deal execution skills; collaborative team leadership
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or willingness to obtain admission
