Lateral Partner, Debt Financing — Toronto

Senior equity partner-level hire for a Debt Financing group in Toronto. The role focuses on lender-side corporate lending, with potential matter mix including mining finance and general bank-side financings.

The team is looking for a mid-level partner with strong business development capability and established bank relationships. An experienced deal lawyer who can originate and lead lender-side mandates and contribute to group growth will be a strong fit.

• Proven lender-side corporate lending experience (bank-side finance)
• Business development track record and strong relationships with financial institutions
• Experience on mining finance matters an asset
• Equity partner readiness and ability to integrate into an established debt finance practice
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
