Lateral Partner, Restructuring & Bankruptcy — Toronto

Senior-ranking restructuring partner sought to lead and expand a busy Toronto restructuring and distressed-debt practice. The role will focus on both lender-side high-yield/distressed debt matters and debtor-side insolvency and restructuring work.

Opportunity includes building a team, originating new client work and advising clients on complex restructurings and insolvency-driven transactions. The position reports into the national restructuring practice leadership and will work with cross-border colleagues as required.

• Established track record in restructuring, insolvency and distressed-debt matters (lender and/or debtor-side)
• Proven ability to originate and manage complex cross-border transactions and restructurings
• Admission to the Ontario bar or equivalent Canadian licensing
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
