Established national law firm is expanding its Toronto restructuring & insolvency team and is seeking a senior lateral partner to lead and grow the practice. The role offers a high-profile platform to advise on complex restructurings, creditor and debtor-side mandates, and distressed M&A.

Open to experienced partners with a demonstrable portable client base; strong candidates at senior counsel/partner level who can originate and manage major matters will be prioritized. The team also remains receptive to senior associates with significant restructuring experience.

New lateral partners typically join on a non-equity basis for an initial period, with an opportunity to move to an equity position thereafter.

Portable book of business of CAD 2M+ (CAD)
Proven track record in restructuring and insolvency work (creditors and debtor-side experience)
Established client origination and relationship-management skills
Admission to the Ontario bar (or eligibility) and significant senior-level experience
