Leading national law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Washington, D.C. employment and labor practice. The role focuses on counseling employers on workplace issues, defending employment litigation, and advising on employee benefits and compliance matters.

The team advises across a range of industries and works on high‑profile, cross‑jurisdictional matters. The successful candidate will join a busy practice group with established institutional clients and collaborative national resources.

This is a partner-level opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer who can play a leadership role in business development and strengthen the firm’s presence in the region.

  • Established partner with substantial experience in labor & employment law and employee benefits.
  • Proven trial and/or counseling track record representing employers in litigation, regulatory matters, and compliance counseling.
  • Ability to develop business and collaborate with national practice teams; portable client relationships or a book of business are welcome.
  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and excellent client service and communication skills.
