Lateral Partner, Energy & Regulatory — Austin

Seek a senior Energy partner to lead a regulatory and transactional practice in Austin. The role focuses on energy and renewables work with experience across finance and insurance-related matters, advising utilities, developers and commercial clients on regulatory compliance and project transactions.

The right candidate will originate and grow relationships, lead deal teams on complex transactional and regulatory matters, and collaborate with cross-practice groups on finance and insurance aspects. FERC experience and a background in renewable energy transactions are a strong plus.

• Portable book of business of $1.5M+ (USD)
• 10+ years' relevant experience in energy regulatory and transactional matters
• Proven track record of originating business and managing senior client relationships
• Experience with renewables projects and familiarity with FERC processes preferred
