Lateral Partner, Finance & Banking — Chicago

Senior finance partner role within a well-established US-based practice seeking an experienced private credit and banking lawyer to join its Chicago office. The role focuses on originating and leading leveraged financings, private credit transactions and commercial lending matters, while driving business development and deepening client relationships.

The successful candidate will lead deal teams, collaborate across practices on complex financings, and mentor associates. This is an opportunity to join a broad, institutionally-oriented practice with national reach and significant transactional volume.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Extensive experience in private credit, syndicated loans and commercial finance transactions
• Proven track record of originating and closing financings and building client relationships
• Demonstrated team leadership and experience mentoring associates
• Active bar admission in the relevant US jurisdiction
