Lateral Partner, Finance & Banking — London

A leading international law firm is seeking a partner to join its London finance team with a strong focus on private equity-backed transactions, fund formation and venture capital matters. The role will involve originating and leading complex financing and corporate deals for institutional and sponsor clients.

The successful candidate will join an established, market-facing practice that works on cross-border matters and advises asset managers, private equity houses and growth-stage investors. This is a visible role with significant client-development and team leadership responsibilities.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Extensive experience in private equity, fund formation and VC-related finance transactions
• Proven track record of originating and leading cross-border deals and managing senior client relationships
• Qualified in the UK (or equivalent) with established London market contacts
